Fine
Art Photography: Most of our guest rooms have
been redecorated with a unique collection of theme-based
fine art quality photographs of animals, plants and
landscape from the Point Reyes area taken by Dr. Joe
“Doc” Melichar, a gifted nature photographer.
Murals:
The pool area is the site of a unique and beautiful
painted mural with themes from Point Reyes. The artists
are Rose Irene Morris and Diza, two talented artist
cousins who have also created a locally famous mural
in Florida. A
cargo crate in the newly planted mini-orchard is adorned
with 2 striking murals painted by the artist Andrew
Cervantes, inspired by the beautiful colors, shapes,
and forms of Point Reyes landscapes and vistas.
Paintings:
In the lower part of the Inn Residence hangs a collection
of paintings of Point Reyes area vistas by the local
artist Steven Markoff. We are also proud to display
one fine painting by Marty Ricks.
